Tips to bring out your spring!

What’s in? Fun!

With Spring/Summer collections in full bloom, it’s time to step out of the darkness and into the light. So put some spring in your step with fresh colours, florals, metallics and so much more.

White is right

Right now we’re all about modern and minimal. And nothing’s more minimal than white. A timeless classic staple, white’s right for all occasions – as shown by Cara Delevingne in her latest DKNY campaign where she’s primed for business in a crisp trouser suit, then free for fun in a lattice skirt, top and backpack. Perfect from heels to hair and everything in between, turn your wardrobe white this season.

Flower Power

Springtime florals are flourishing right now, with 60s-style poppies and daisies to the fore. Whether embroidered or embellished, flowers bring a pop of colour to any look. But if you find them overpowering, why not subtly accessorize the trend with floral shoes or bags?

Check out the checks

Spring/Summer collections saw the return of bold graphics, most notably in Louis Vuitton’s stunning selection of check jackets and skirts. Whether in classic monochrome or zesty lemon it’s a striking look guaranteed to help you stride away from winter. (Keep jewellery to a minimum to maximise the look).

Intergalactic Metallics

Nothing reflects the fun Spring can bring like a shiny new metallic look. Metals shone in major collections, from Prada shoes to Fendi dresses, and are popping up everywhere from catwalks to high street. Put a little space age shine in your arsenal now.

Do the splits

It’s time to bring your pins out of hibernation, and split skirts are the perfect way to showcase them. Available in an endless array of colours, lengths and styles – from formal side-slit pencils to sizzling double slits, which one are you?

After a brutal winter, it’s time to play. Have fun!
